Pennsylvania girl with spina bifida walks to receive high school diploma

WINDBER, Pa. – Megan Ott uses a wheelchair for daily activities and for years, the 18-year-old has dreamt of walking.

Thursday night, with the help of her mother and a walker, Megan was able to walk the football field to receive her high school diploma during the graduation ceremony.

Megan has spina bifida and this moment left many of her classmates and teachers at Windber Area High School in tears.
