Some parents are seeking teachers to come into their homes this school year due to uncertainty and reduced in-person learning at schools amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Pupil Pod was started by a mom in the Philadelphia area. It’s a company helping parents find teachers to come to their homes.
Pods can be self-chosen or assigned. They have four to eight kids and a qualified teacher.
The small pods of kids and teachers would eliminate the issue of contact-tracing if someone catches the virus, and protects kids and staff members from the virus.
It's a solution that brings peace and consistency to home and school in an age where so much is uncertain.
