They are not first responders or those working on the frontlines, but during this pandemic, they've provided a vital service and helped maintain a sense of normalcy for thousands of school kids.

Megan Beck of the Guilderland School District, Katherine Headwell of Shenendehowa, and Aleesa Eyeser of  Bethlehem are the food service directors in their respective districts. For the past 10 months, they've been making sure our kids were fed.

Now with the year almost over, they are not sure how they did it, but they're glad they were of service to the community.

Learn more about the huge effort that had to be planned to make it all go smoothly by watching the video of Elaine Houston's story.
