ALVIN, Texas - With many districts choosing to send kids back to the classroom this fall, the attention has turned to how to keep them safe at school.

A Texas teacher designed a touchless hand sanitizer system with her husband and it's gaining popularity.

The foot pump sanitizing station is a 38-inch stand made of PVC pipe that holds a 30-ounce bottle of hand sanitizer.

The teacher plans to place the station right outside her classroom to provide an essential, practical tool for her students.

See how it works and how teachers in another district came up with a special partition to safely separate students by watching the video of the story.
