GULFPORT, Miss. - Painting murals gives nurse Lucinda L'Enfant a sense of relief and joy as she helps care for the worst of COVID-19 patients.
She took an interest in painting at age 10, thanks to her Mimi, who loved watching Bob Ross.
Her love of art has never wavered, despite life taking her a different direction as a registered nurse, and six years in the Navy.
L'Enfant started doing murals about five years ago. She has painted murals across south Mississippi ever since.
She says artwork is an escape for her during the pandemic.
