SCHENECTADY - A new exhibit at MiSci explores what changes when we add heat to food and how we've done it over time.
"Insatiable: Cooking Up Innovation" includes the history of refrigeration, the design of toasters, and the culture of food science – or how we got from carving wooden bowls around a fire to Guy Fieri taking us to "Flavortown."
It all starts with STEM. This electric revolution was sparked in Schenectady, the Electric City.
See more of the exhibit, by watching the video of Asa Stackel's STEM 13 report.
