Five Capital Region Community Colleges came together on Tuesday to address one issue -- lack of skilled workers.
Columbia-Greene, Fulton-Montgomery, HVCC, SUNY Adirondack and SUNY Schenectady are forming a partnership to work on training people across the board so they have more skills to find a job.
The schools say recent data from the state finds there just aren't enough skilled workers to fill emerging jobs.
The new partnership is called the Capital Community College Career Coalition.
