Schenectady schools superintendent resigns effective immediately

Larry Spring is out as the superintendent of the Schenectady City School District.

The Board of Education accepted his resignation Wednesday night, effective immediately.


NewsChannel 13 is still working to find out why he resigned.

Dr. Aaron Bochniak has been appointed acting superintendent.

The board will now begin searching for a full-time replacement.
