Mohonasen program helping to overcome the skilled labor shortage

Overcoming the skilled labor shortage. That's the goal of a program in the Mohonasen Central School District.

On "National Manufacturing Day," the district is highlighting its Center for Advanced Technology.

Demand is skyrocketing for skilled labor in the manufacturing industry, specifically for machinists. Students are able to learn the skills they need to find a job, right in the classroom.

Many students are also enjoying paid internships through the program.
