Capital Region teachers hold parades to greet homebound students

Teachers and staff in the South Colonie School District are reaching out to their students while keeping a safe distance.

They paraded from Shaker Road Elementary To Sand Creek Middle School showing students some love, as the kids are forced to stay home because of coronavirus.


The students held signs cheering them on as they drove by.

Teachers in Guilderland held a similar parade on Thursday.
