At the height of college decision season, the University of Kentucky accidentally emailed 500,000 high school seniors an acceptance letter to a "selective" program that usually accepts 35 to 40 students a year.
An error in the school's customer relationship management tool resulted in the accidental acceptances to the university's Clinical Leadership and Management program.
Many students who received the acceptance email said they never even applied.
