Kellisue Ackernecht has been missing since 2008, when her car was found in flames just a few blocks from her home in Johnstown.

It's still unknown whether she was the victim of foul play or took off willingly.

A #ColdCase13 exclusive, police have released to us new age progression photos of Kellisue as they continue to work this case.

Johnstown Police Chief David Gilbo says generating age progression photos is typically reserved for use with missing children. However, an exception was made because of the continued mystery surrounding this case, and Kellisue's now 21-year-old daughter, Ashley, asked for them.

Kellisue left work in Amsterdam the evening of September 30, 2008. Her car was found in flames less than four hours later. Gilbo does not suspect arson, as the car had been having radiator problems.

Extramarital affairs “seem” to support the theory she just left, but without a trace?

Investigators checked her Social Security number and ran her name at least four times since Kellisue went missing. It hasn't been used once.

It's also hard to believe Kellisue would leave and never return for her daughter, Ashley, who was just 8 at the time her mother disappeared.

Ashley had spoken exclusively to #ColdCase13, the first interview she's ever done about the case, and made a plea to anyone with information.

Gilbo says since our #ColdCase13 investigation, both new and old information has started coming in.

For now, he asks you to take a good look at the pictures. If you know where Kellisue Ackernecht is or what happened to her, contact Johnstown Police or email #ColdCase13 at WNYT.com.
