Gloversville garage fire under investigation

Firefighters in Gloversville battled a large fire late Thursday night.      

The fire chief tells NewsChannel 13 it broke out around 11:20 p.m. in a garage on Orange Street. The flames then spread to a second garage, and to a home.    


A family of three was able to get out of the home safely. Firefighters then quickly got other neighbors out.    

The two garages are destroyed.    

No one was injured in the fire.
