Missing man from Saratoga Springs found dead in Sacandaga Lake

The search for a man who went missing from Saratoga Springs Thursday has come to a tragic end. Authorities found the body of 79-year-old Michael McNaughton inside his vehicle Friday.

McNaughton’s Ford Escape was partially submerged in Sacandaga Lake in the town of Broadalbin.


Police tell us they don't suspect foul play.

McNaughton suffered from dementia and authorities were worried he might be in need of medical attention.
