The Village of Coxsackie in Greene County has declared a state of emergency because of storm damage. Officials are calling for emergency travel only.

One of the hardest hit areas was Mansion Street.

Trees were left toppled or uprooted, with lots of dangling wires. Trees more than 200 years old were uprooted in the village.

Many roads were shut down and impassable on Wednesday.

Utility crews were working to restore power.

Other damage reports came in from several other Capital Region counties, including Albany, Columbia, and Berkshire.
