The number of positive cases of coronavirus keeps going up in Albany County. As of Friday morning, there are 176 cases - 10 more than Thursday's report of 166.

Of those, 14 people are hospitalized - six in the ICU. The age range now spans from 25 to over 75.

County officials provided a chart Friday morning that shows the continued steady growth of cases over the past few weeks.

There are still nearly 800 quarantines with most of those being mandatory.

There's been some concern in the county recently about getting supplies from the Regional Food Bank to those who need them. It will be one of the first tasks the National Guard helps with when they hit the ground in Albany next week.

There was the daily reminder to continue to stay home and practice appropriate social distancing - especially with the weekend upon us.
