Albany County reports nearly 300 new cases; other counties with positivity >10%

Albany County is reporting another 292 new cases of coronavirus. There are currently 168 people in the hospital with the virus, a new record.

Sadly, three more people died.

Among the counties in this region, Columbia County is reporting the highest infection rate at 11.2%.

Ninety-six people there tested positive.

Albany and Saratoga counties are reporting over 200 new cases each.

Schenectady County recorded 163 cases, Warren County recorded 82 new cases and Washington County recorded 49 new cases.

In the Mohawk Valley, Fulton and Montgomery counties report an infection rate above 10%.
