Albany Medical Center nurses once again rallied outside the hospital Tuesday morning.

They say the hospital has proposed cuts to an already trimmed down staff.

Nurses of the New York State Nurses Association have been calling out the hospital for months regarding unsafe staffing levels. They say it's happening on several units.

They say these cuts are happening after they've worked day and night for patients during the pandemic.

Albany Medical Center said they have not cut positions and are among the small number of health care organizations that did not lay off or furlough staff during the pandemic.

They say their staffing levels are safe.
