A new report shows fewer Americans are dying from cancer.

The American Cancer Society report estimates more than three-million cancer deaths were prevented between 1991 and 2018.

They say it's due to earlier detection, improved treatments, and more people who stopped smoking.

Survival rates are highest for prostate cancer, melanoma of the skin, and breast cancer.
