There are nearly 800 quarantines in Albany County - most of them mandatory. Right now, that is what's straining Albany County's Department of Health.

For each of those cases, they have to make home visits every day.

Most are volunteers. Some are medically trained, while others have no medical training.

Learn more about what they do – and the crucial role volunteers who don’t visit someone in person are also playing, by watching the video of Jerry Gretzinger’s story.
