Cohoes students start Real Kids Wear Pink movement

October is breast cancer awareness month. But not all those encouraging awareness are adults.

There's a group of young ladies attending Cohoes Middle School who have created quite a stir. They're the heart of Real Kids Wear Pink, fashioned after Real Men Wear Pink.
They host fundraisers and information sessions not only at their school, but through chapters at other local schools.

For Carli O’Hara, founder of Real Kids Wear Pink, this fight hits close to home. Her grandmother survived stage-four breast cancer. Two others on her team also have family members who've been diagnosed.
