Capital Region hospitals coordinating coronavirus care together

All the local hospitals are working together to handle the expected increase in patients affected by coronavirus.

While they say most won't need to be hospitalized, for those who do, they expect they can handle the increase.

However, there will be changes and some are already in place.

By working together, the local hospitals say they can coordinate care across the region - and even manage supplies of personal protective equipment healthcare workers need for their safety.

That's the heart of message from all the hospitals in the Capital Region.
