Capital Region has highest positivity rating in NY state

Gov. Cuomo released the latest numbers on coronavirus Thursday.

At 2.1% Wednesday, the Capital Region has the highest positivity rating in New York state. It's up from 1.8% on Tuesday.


In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate dropped from 1.8% on Tuesday to 0.9% on Wednesday.

Cuomo says a total of 73,546 people were tested across state Wednesday. Of those, 777, or 1.06 percent, were positive.

Total hospitalizations fell to 586, the lowest since March 17.

Unfortunately, another 13 people across the state died.
