ALBANY - Coronavirus testing is being done at the Wadsworth Lab in Albany.

This is where all tests for coronavirus done in New York are sent. Results can be determined within hours.

The state got the okay to test on Saturday, with approval coming from the FDA.

This follows problems with the original test kits provided by the CDC, as NewsChannel 13 reported.

So New York is using a test it created that Gov. Cuomo touts as being better than the CDC test.

As of 2 p.m. Monday, there was only one person under investigation as it's termed. That's the spouse of the confirmed case in New York City.
