Cosmetology students in Albany make wigs for breast cancer survivors

ALBANY - October is "Breast Cancer Awareness Month." In Albany, some survivors received a special gift.
Cosmetology students at Abrookin Career and Technical Center have been learning how to make wigs.
Teacher Laquita Love says donations from the community and local businesses really made the difference here. Students - who first thought it might be a good source of revenue, realized a much greater payoff. They realized how powerful a skill that can be – and the kind of impact such work can have.
