Governor Cuomo released the latest coronavirus numbers on Wednesday. He says 1.02% of coronavirus tests came back positive on Tuesday, out of around 97,000 tests done.

There are currently 605 people hospitalized, 144 people in the ICU, and 67 people who are intubated.

Hotspots remain in Rockland, Kings, Orange, and a bit of Nassau counties.

All of those counties are downstate. The 20 hot spot zip codes have 23% of all positive cases in the state but only 6% of the population.

In the Capital Region, the positivity rate dropped from 0.9% on Monday to 0.5% on Tuesday.

In the Mohawk Valley, the positivity rate dropped from 0.8% on Monday to 0.3% on Tuesday.

Unfortunately, another nine people in the state died.
