Experts at the Department of Health and Human Services spell out how much you should be moving.

Adults should get 150-minutes a week of moderate aerobic activity. That’s about 20 minutes a day, or 75 minutes of vigorous activity a week, again spread out throughout the week.

At least two days a week, you should do strength training exercises for all major muscle groups.
