If you are pregnant - or are trying to get pregnant, check your medicine cabinet.

The FDA issued a warning about an ingredient found in supplements because it could harm your unborn child.

It says pregnant women should not take any dietary supplement containing Vinpocetine. The agency says it may cause harm to the fetus, or cause a miscarriage.

It is often listed as "lesser periwinkle extract", "common periwinkle extract" or "Vinca minor extract."
