CLIFTON PARK - When you think of tattooing, most people see it as a way for people to express themselves through body art. However, one woman is using it to help breast cancer patients feel beautiful.

When Lori Manny thinks of her sisters, she has fond memories -- and their deaths as a result of breast cancer are etched in her mind too.

So, this month, "Breast Cancer Awareness Month," the artist who does permanent makeup tattooing for eyelashes, eyeliner and eyebrows on women who lost their eyebrows to too much tweezing, wanted to give back to breast cancer survivors.

It's called microblading and she's using it to tattoo eyebrows on women who've lost theirs to chemo, for free.

The $500 procedure starts with a stencil for design and shaping of the brow. The spot is then numbed and the tattooing begins. It takes a couple of hours and Manny says the finished product almost always make women feel better.

For those who have survived breast cancer, it always hits the mark.

Manny is extending her free offer to breast cancer survivors until the end of November.
