Health Beat: Center for Aging and Policy Studies

Too often the elderly are overlooked and their needs go unmet. A consortium of three Upstate New York universities landed a five-year, $1.5 million grant from the National Institute on Aging to fund the Center for Aging and Policy Studies. One of those universities is UAlbany's School of Public Health. Dr. Benjamin Shaw -- associate dean for research and a professor in the department of health policy, management, and behavior -- is the point person for the project here.
