Health Beat: New Mental Health Help

These days many of you are not going anywhere -- still home as we continue to observe social distancing. That can, and has, caused emotional issues for many. So our guest is Dr. Ann Sullivan, the commissioner for the Office of Mental Health here in New York.

The OMH Emotional Support Helpline, 1-844-863-9314, provides free and confidential support to callers experiencing increased anxiety due to the coronavirus emergency. Volunteers -- including mental health professionals, who have received training in crisis counseling -- staff the helpline.
