When a vaccine for COVID-19 is finally approved, the next hurdle is rolling it out and getting people inoculated. That's where your local pharmacy comes into play. In fact, it's something the 7,000 independent pharmacies statewide will take part in as they'll be mobilized under phase one of Gov. Cuomo's plan, which aims to administer vaccinations to 20 million New Yorkers. So how to get it done? That's something my guest, Tom D'Angelo, president of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York, is working on.
