COLONIE - For the last four years, 12-year-old Luke Hoag of Hoosick Falls has made it his mission to give back in a big way.
That's because he was the recipient of a Make-a-Wish trip to Disney World when he was 3 - after being diagnosed with cancer before he was 2.
Luke is hoping to do the same for other kids by encouraging people to write letters to Santa.
Two school buses delivered 80,000+ letters to the Colonie Center Macy's on Friday – which will be mailed to Santa.
For each letter, Macy's donates $2 to the Northeast Chapter of Make-a-Wish.
Hear from Luke about why the cause is so important to him, by watching the video of Brooke Selby's story.

For the fifth year, he is helping to raise thousands for @MakeAWishNENY by delivering TWO SCHOOL BUSES worth of local letters to Santa @Macys #coloniecenter.
