Major health concerns on out-of-hospital heart attacks

Out-of-hospital heart attacks are now the third leading cause of health loss among Americans. 

That's according to a new study measuring the number of years lost to bad health, disability, or early death.

It showed people who suffered cardiac arrest outside of a hospital lost an average of twenty healthy years, but the prognosis improved for those who received immediate CPR. 

Heart disease and low back and neck pain are the top two causes of disease related health loss.
