New cases of measles have reached a new record in the country, even as the rate of new cases is slowing.

The latest report from the CDC shows there are now 1,109 confirmed cases in 28 states. That’s an increase of 14 cases from the week before.

The hardest hit state is still New York, where there are nearly 900 reported cases.

This continues to be the worst measles outbreak in the U.S. since 1992.
