ALBANY - Be it a cold, the flu, stress from exams, or a routine physical, for the first time in more than a decade, students at UAlbany can now get treatment and counseling right on campus.

University officials opened the new state of the art facility – a modern design inside a signature 1960s building on the Dutch Quad.

The center has 19 exam rooms, two triage rooms, 24 counseling offices, and will offer both medical and holistic treatments and education.

Before the grand opening, students had been taking shuttle buses to an off-campus location for health services.
