Capital Region non-profits receive $800k donation to improve community's health

Six Capital Region non-profit organizations are sharing an $800,000 grant to improve the health of the community.

The money will be shared among the Center for Disability Services, Equinox, Northern Rivers, Trinity Alliance, City Mission of Schenectady and the Unity House.


The funding will be used to connect social service providers to medical providers through a platform called "Healthy Together."

The funding was made possible through MVP Health Care and Healthy Alliance Independent Practice Association.
