Nurses were planning to rally outside Albany Med again on Wednesday.

The New York State Nurses Association says it's also releasing an ad campaign Wednesday that calls upon Albany Medical Center's Board of Directors to improve staffing and patient care. The nurses voted last year to unionize.

They've been negotiating with the hospital on a first union contract ever since.

Last month, the hospital administration told NewsChannel 13 they are negotiating in good faith and support high-quality health care in the region.
