Erie Canal bike ride promoting empowerment ends in Schenectady

SCHENECTADY - A bike journey along the Erie Canal, promoting the empowerment of people with disabilities has wrapped up in Schenectady.

It's the annual Our Ability Ride.

The goal is to motivate people of all abilities to take the journey for at least one-mile.

Our Ability was started by John Robinson, who is a former employee of NewsChannel 13.

The group's journey along the canal started back on July 1 with a 51-mile ride out of Buffalo.
