Pioneer for St. Clare’s Hospital pensioner committee passes away

SCHENECTADY- Funeral services are on Wednesday for the woman, who lead in the fight to get promised pension money for former workers of Saint Clare's Hospital.    

A mass for Lori Daviero will be held at Saint John the Evangelist Church in Schenectady at 10 a.m.

Lori Daviero lost her battle with pancreatic cancer last Friday.

She worked at Saint Clare's Hospital in the radiology unit for 23 years. When she learned she would lose her benefits she started a committee to fight it, after the corporation announced it was running out of money.
