Grocery stores are taking another step in trying to protect customers and their employees from coronavirus.

Price Chopper/Market 32 is joining a growing number of grocery stores in putting up Plexiglas barriers at the checkout.

Since you can't keep six feet apart at checkout, Price Chopper, Stop & Shop, Giant Eagle, Kroger, Walmart, and Publix are all putting up similar setups.

Price Chopper/Market 32 is also posting signs to remind customers to keep a safe distance while pushing their carts.

Some grocery stores in France also installed similar barriers last week when that country went into lockdown.
