The Centers for Disease Control is looking into changing guidelines that could change physical distancing rules in schools.

Dr. Anthony Fauci says three feet of distancing between schoolchildren, rather than the recommended six feet, may be good enough for schools to reopen safely.

His comments follow a new study published last week.

Researchers found increasing social distancing requirements in Massachusetts schools to six feet from three feet did not make a difference in the number of new COVID cases among students or staff.
