A new study suggests couples who smoke together should try quitting together.

British researchers studied more than 200 smokers, as well as their partners. Nearly half of the significant others were also smokers.

The couples who both smoked had higher success with quitting at the end of the study, than those who tried to quit on their own.

Experts say couples who quit together can distract each other from the cravings for a cigarette.
