ALBANY - A long-awaited day finally arrives for the family of a little boy battling brain cancer.
Logan Fogg and his parents got to ring the bell at Albany Medical Center on Monday, signifying the end of his active treatment.
The 22-month-old from Scotia was born with congenital glioblastoma, a rare type of tumor which is often fast-growing and fatal. However, thanks to aggressive surgeries and treatment, Logan now has a much better prognosis.
Logan will still have to return to the hospital pretty often for tests and monitoring, but all those intense treatments and lengthy hospital stays are behind him for now.
