SARATOGA SPRINGS - A Saratoga County nursing home has big plans to make its facility more inviting for residents.

The Wesley rolled out plans Wednesday for a $20 million upgrade.

The fifth floor of the not-for-profit is already complete. It includes private rooms, with private bathrooms and showers.

There is beautiful natural light and an open space for games, puzzles, or even playing the piano.

The home hopes to continue renovations and kicked off a capital campaign to raise $5 million in donations.

The Wesley first opened its doors back in 1972.

Hear from a board member about why the renovations are so badly needed and learn more about the upgrade, by watching the video of Mark Mulholland's story.
