Working with animals may be bad for your mental health

You may think working with cute animals would be the best job... but it may actually be bad for your mental health. 

A new study suggests veterinarians or volunteer workers at animal shelters are at a risk for depression, anxiety and suicide.

They may be dealing with guilt when they have to euthanize animals they have cared for. Animal welfare agents may even carry a heavier burden, dealing with animals who were abused.
