Study shows morning sickness could lead to autism risk

Severe morning sickness during pregnancy may increase the risk of autism in children.

Researchers found children whose mothers who had hyperemesis gravidarum during pregnancy were 53% more likely to be diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

But, it is a rare condition, and occurs in less than 5% of pregnancies.
