What to do when your child says they don't like a teacher

Sooner or later, your child will probably end up with a teacher they don't like.

Experts tell us, when confronted with these situations, the first thing parents should do is listen carefully to the child.

Sometimes kids just need to whine or complain - to know that you care enough to listen.

They recommend having your child actually put their thoughts and feelings into words - which can help them "problem solve" their way through the issue.

If the issue persists, consider getting the teacher's take on the situation.

After getting more information, you can decide if there's a need to sit down with everyone to flush things out.
