Saratoga County is making sure unused medicine doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.

A drug take-back event was held this weekend in Rexford.

People were able to bring in their unused and/or expired medicine to be recycled.

Assemblywoman Mary Beth Walsh says the event was meant to help prevent drugs from getting to children or pets.
