NewsChannel 13 salutes U.S. Navy PO2 Cris Mealo of Watervliet.
The husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather served in World War II and the Korean War.
He later worked for Hoffman Ice House in Watervliet, and retired from the Watervliet Arsenal after 40 years.
He passed away in December 2020 at age 94.
